The Woman You're Becoming.
There are photos of me from 2023 and 2024 that I can barely look at. Not because of how I looked, but because of what I see behind my eyes.
When I scroll past them now, I pause. I study her face, the heaviness in her shoulders, the smile that never quite reached her eyes. I don't recognize her. And yet I know her better than anyone, because she was me.
She was tired. She was inflamed, inside and out. She was carrying hurt that other people had handed her and walked away from. She was doing her best to hold her life together while quietly falling apart.
Today, when I look in the mirror, I see someone completely different. I see the woman I always knew could exist. She is calm, radiant, and grounded. She knows her worth. She feels real, and she feels beautiful.
This book is about the journey between those two women. More importantly, it's about yours.
Because if you're holding this book, I believe some part of you already knows what I knew in my darkest seasons: there is more for you. More love, more peace, more purpose, more luxury, more of you. You may not see her clearly yet, but the woman you're becoming is already waiting.
When the World Stopped
My first wake-up call came at a time when the whole world was forced to stand still.
I found myself suddenly single right as the COVID-19 lockdown began. One moment life was moving at its usual pace, and the next, everything shut down. The noise disappeared, and there was nowhere to go and no one to distract me. It was just me, my thoughts, and a silence I wasn't ready for.
Those months were some of the loneliest of my life. The isolation sank deep into my bones. I felt sadness that wouldn't lift and a heaviness I now recognize as depression. I remember wanting to pull myself out of it and simply not knowing how. The things that used to lift me up felt far away, and I couldn't find my way back to them.
When everything external is stripped away, you're left face to face with one question: Who am I without all of this?
I didn't have the answer. So I had to go looking for it.
Relearning Who I Was
Slowly, I began to rediscover myself. I asked what I genuinely loved, what made me feel alive, and what I enjoyed before life got so loud. Piece by piece, I started to remember.
One of the first things I came back to was writing. Writing had always been my safe place, the way I made sense of the world and my feelings within it. So I leaned into it. In the middle of one of the hardest seasons of my life, I created an online course called Unleashing Feminine Energy Through Self-Expression.
It was a writing course for women, a space to help them write empowering stories and rediscover their voices. I wanted to share my love of writing with the world, because I knew firsthand what it could do. It had helped me find my way back to myself, and I wanted other women to experience that too.
Looking back, I see something important. Even in my lowest moments, the woman I was becoming was already whispering to me. She was creative, she was a teacher, and she wanted to help other women rise. I just didn't fully believe in her yet.
Losing People, Losing Pieces
I wish I could tell you that writing that course was the turning point and everything got easier. It wasn't, and it didn't.
Over the next few years, life kept evolving, and not always gently. I lost a lot of relationships. Some people drifted away naturally, and others left in ways that hurt deeply. I found myself in a relationship, then single again. Each time, I had to pick myself back up and start over.
There's a particular kind of pain that comes when someone does their damage and then simply walks away. They move on with their lives, and you're the one left on the floor, cleaning up pieces you didn't break. You carry the confusion, the questions, and the heaviness. And you do the healing work alone, for wounds you never asked for.
I was intentional about my healing. I took a year or two between relationships to focus on myself. But what I didn't understand then is that time alone doesn't heal trauma. Time only passes. The wounds stayed with me, quietly shaping how I saw myself and what I believed I deserved.
When Everything Hurt at Once
At the same time, I was dealing with conflict in my workplace, the kind of ongoing tension that follows you home and sits with you long after the day ends. Painful situation after painful situation seemed to stack on top of one another, with no room to breathe in between.
And my body was keeping track of everything my heart was holding.
I felt inflamed, physically and emotionally. My body was exhausted from carrying stress it was never meant to carry for so long. I was in the worst shape I'd ever been in my entire life. I didn't feel at home in my own skin, and when I looked at myself, I felt disconnected from the woman staring back.
That's the season captured in those photos from 2023 and 2024. A woman who had been through so much, who kept trying, but who had lost sight of herself along the way.
If you're in a season like that right now, I want you to hear this: I see you. You are not weak for struggling, and you are not broken beyond repair. You are a woman who has been carrying too much for too long. And you can put it down.
Taking My Life Back
The shift didn't happen overnight. But about a year and a half ago, something in me finally said, enough.
I was tired of rebuilding the same broken foundation. I was tired of waiting for life to feel better on its own. And I was tired of handing my peace, my body, and my future to circumstances and people who had never earned that power.
So I made a decision: I was taking my life back.
I started with the one thing I'd overlooked through every rebuild before. Not my relationships, not my job, not my appearance. My mindset.
I had to examine the beliefs I'd been carrying about myself. That I had to accept less. That love had to hurt. That I was only worth what others decided I was worth. One by one, I questioned them, and one by one, I let them go.
Then I had to do the hardest and most beautiful work of all: learning how to love myself again. Not in a surface-level way, but deeply and consistently. I began treating myself like someone I cherished. I took care of my body instead of punishing it. I protected my energy and my peace. I made choices my future self would thank me for.
And something incredible happened. I glowed up, not just on the outside, though that changed too, but from the inside out. My body began to heal. My confidence returned. My energy shifted. And as I began to love myself properly, I started to attract the love, opportunities, and people that matched who I was becoming.
The Woman I Always Knew Could Exist
Today, I can stand here and say with complete honesty that I have been in some of the darkest places of my life, and I have rebuilt more than once.
And because I've had to start over multiple times, I know something many people only hope is true: you can always rise again. Every time you rebuild, you do it with more wisdom, more strength, and more clarity about who you are.
When I look at myself now, I see myself in a way I never have before. I feel like the version of me I always knew was possible, the one I used to imagine in quiet moments and wonder if I'd ever meet. She's here now. She feels beautiful. She feels real. And she feels like home.
Why Mindset Comes First
I know you've heard it before: mindset is everything. It's said so often that it can start to sound like a cliché. But I'm here to tell you, from lived experience, that it's true.
For years, I tried to fix my life from the outside in. I worked hard. I changed my circumstances, my relationships, my routines. I put in the effort, again and again. But until I changed the way I saw myself, nothing truly changed. I kept attracting the same pain, just in different packaging.
Here is what I've learned: you can work all the time. You can do everything right on paper. You can hustle, plan, push, and try. But if your mindset tells you that you don't deserve more, you will never fully receive it. You will not attract what you are meant to attract until you believe you are worthy of it.
This applies to every area of your life. It applies to love and relationships, to your health and your body, and to your business and your brand. Whatever you are building, you can only grow it as far as your mindset allows you to go.
That's what an Elevated Luxury Mindset is all about. It's not about having the most expensive things. It's about loving yourself enough to expect more, romanticizing your life instead of just surviving it, and stepping into the version of yourself who already knows she is worthy.
The Woman You're Becoming
So let's talk about you.
Maybe you're in your own lockdown season right now, feeling isolated or stuck. Maybe you're cleaning up pieces someone else broke. Maybe your body is tired, your heart is heavy, or your business feels like it's stalled no matter how hard you try. Or maybe life is good, but you have that quiet knowing that you were made for more.
Wherever you are, I want you to know this: the woman you're becoming is already within you. She's not a fantasy, and she's not out of reach. She's the truest version of you, waiting for you to make room for her.
You don't have to have it all figured out to begin. I didn't. You simply have to decide that you're ready to stop surviving and start elevating.
In the chapters ahead, we'll do this work together. We'll rebuild your sense of worth, redefine what luxury means for your life, raise your standards, and create a mindset that allows you to attract everything you're meant to receive, in love, in life, and in business.
I've been in the worst places, and I've risen anyway. I know you can too.
Your elevation starts now.
Reflect and Elevate
Take a quiet moment with your journal before moving on. Answer honestly; no one else needs to see these pages.
Think of a photo or memory of yourself during a difficult season. What do you see in her eyes, and what would you say to her today?
What has your past self been carrying that was never hers to carry? What are you ready to put down?
Who were you before life got loud? List three things you genuinely love that you've drifted away from.
Where in your life have you been working hard but not receiving? What belief might be standing in the way?
Describe the woman you're becoming in as much detail as you can. How does she feel, how does she treat herself, and how does she move through her day?
What is one small action you can take this week that she would take?
Remember: elevation isn't a moment. It's a method.
